TONY SIMKUS JR. makes a return visit today to his old softball team Highland. The Dejectors beat a young REPO MEN team 13 - 5 as Tony held tradition yelling "Nickles and dimes boys, nickles and dimes!" Just like his dad did thousands of times in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
 |
We also are sad to hear of the passing of one our most loyal fans, Earl Cook. Earl, 80, came to hundreds of games with his wife Helen side-by-side with Tony Simkus Sr. and his wife Margaret. (Margaret and Helen are sisters)
Earl will be missed by his friends on the Highland Softball team.
